The role of the Royal House

There is an urgent need to reestablish our People and give them true peace, relief, re-settlement and development. The Dakon Royal House has enormous responsibilities towards all the people of La Cote D’Ivoire. To help settle them, cloth them, give them food, medical care, and comfort them from the atrocities perpetrated against them from the shackles of the unwarranted civil war brought about by the greediness of few of the citizens who neither do not know the history of the Country or thought that through the power of the barrel can a usurped political power by any means necessary.

God Almighty, has ordained the Nations, and it is only Him who establishes Rulers for every nation and Peoples of the World. Outside of Him, no one can, through force of arms take power permanently. This respect is manifold. We as a people have to heed the voice of Nanan Houphouet so as to avoid war and live together in peace and harmony. We are calling all the People of La Cote d’Ivoire and especially all the Akans to rally around the Monarchy to enable us to bring peace and relief to every Ivoirian. Tangible plans are afoot to help feed and provide permanent help to our subjects. Our responsibility is to provide the immediate needs of our people regardless of tribe, ethnicity, religious affiliation or national origins. We are people of African descend.

We belong to one another. All Africans regardless of the labels imposed on us by our former colonial masters are of one family, and we of the Dakon Royal Dynasty will never allow any politician or anyone to selfishly destroy our people. We are going to use the resources of the Kingdom to develop the nation as it has always been done by our ancient Kings and Queens and continued by Nanan Houphouet Boigny of the Ekoana Branch of the Adako Akan Royal Dynasty. If the current Politicians lack knowledge of history of the formation of the nation up till the time of colonial rule and the struggle to free our people from the shackles of external domination, then the time has come for them to realize that our people throughout our history have fought for unity, peace and provision of abundance for all regardless of affiliations. We shall aspire to do that and more and rebuild a Kingdom fit to lead the whole Africa towards Peace prosperity and Development.
